Today I got to meet with our home inspector - Frank Ross. He seemed to have done a very thorough job and we now have a very long to-do list. As I look at all the things that we will have to do, several right away so that we can update our adoption homestudy, I am thankful that we didn't go with one of the other more intense fixer-uppers that we looked at. One of the joys of home ownership is making it your own, one of the not so grand things is owning all of the problems! However we are optimistic that we will be able to handle most of the repairs on our own (by this I mean with Dad's help!). The house should be closing in about a week, 3/27. We will keep up updated on the progress.
